Is EV SSL more secure than OV SSL?

The encryption is identical. The difference is the verification level: EV certificates require more extensive manual business checks, including telephone verification.

Do browsers still show the company name in the address bar?

No. Google Chrome and other browsers removed the company name from the address bar in 2019. The information is still available by clicking the padlock icon.
