DigiCert Basic EV TLS/SSL (SAN)

Validate once, issue immediately

DigiCert is the worlds largest SSL certificate issuer.
In 2017 they bought Symantec, including their other CA brands Thawte, GeoTrust and RapidSSL.

After ordering the first organization or extended validated product, the validation will be saved and can be reused for future orders.
The saved validation is also called pre-validation, which is usually only available to larger organizations. The pre-validation can be reused, for certificate orders in up to 397 days.

This product is recommended for companies with a need for multiple certificates during the year or multiple types i.e. CodeSign and E-mail, as only one company validation is required.

Larger organizations with a need for full control and direct issuance of certificates, can receive a DigiCert Managed PKI solution directly from us.

The certificate includes full email and phone support, also directly with the issuer if preferred. Validation can usually be completed within hours.

Additional SAN's added (up to 249) will increase the total cost. Only the names entered in the primary name and SAN fields will be in the certificate.

Validation of the domain will happen thru an email to the domain or the creation of a web page or DNS record, that proves control over the domain.
